A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

On behalf of the School Board and staff, we welcome you to the Nooksack Valley School District.

We are continually striving to do what is best for the children in our schools. Our foremost responsibility is to teach students a basic core curriculum of skills and knowledge that will help them to succeed in a dynamic world. Such a constantly changing world requires continual review and evaluation of our schools, and a clear direction for the future.
Regardless of our responsibilities in teaching, transportation, maintenance, counseling, administration, or any other district position, we all work together to help young people develop academically, physically and emotionally. Schools should provide environments where students interact with teacher, community, and other students to foster a combination of learning, curiosity, and respect of self and others.

Sincerely,
Mark Johnson, Superintendent of Schools
Nooksack Valley School District
