in the Washington Heritage Register "BEHIND THE LENS" DARIS AND TABITHA KINSEY ONE OF THE NORTHWEST'S FINEST PHOTOGRAPHIC TEAMS Nooksack Cemetery is the final resting place for Daris and Tabitha Kinsey, one of the Northwest's finest photographic teams in Washington. The couple were very dedicated to each other and worked side by side capturing images all over the Northwest and beyond. Daris met Tabitha Pritts at her parents' homestead in Nooksack while he was working as an itinerant photographer. The prolific photographic team were also married in Nooksack. The Kinsey Collection, comprised of more than 4,700 negative and 600 prints was acquired by the Whatcom Museum of History and Art in 1979.
